How to get there

From Guayaquil, Quito, and any other town in the Manabi province there are direct buses to Puerto Lopez.

By car you can take the highway Guayaquil-Jipijapa and divert to the alternate highway that goes all the way to Puerto Lopez and Machalilla National Park.

Another route is Guayaquil - Salinas - Puerto Lopez traveling through the Route of the Sun.

Coming from the southern area, you can take the road Cuenca - Molleturo - Puerto Inca - Guayaquil - Jipijapa - Puerto López.
